The versatile shitake is suitable for almost any cooking method. Use these dried mushrooms whole in stews or slice mushrooms finely for stir-fry dishes (after rehydrating). You can also marinade the mushrooms to add additional flavour (some suggestions - combination of soy sauce, rice vinegar and mirin). Shitake mushrooms are also known as Chinese Mushrooms.
Stick it in the cupboard, store in an airtight container after opening.
