Gochujang chilli paste is used in numerous Korean recipes to add that distinctive spicy, sweet flavour. It is traditionally made from fermented chilli peppers, rice flour and soybean paste, (almost like a very spicy miso).
This ready-to-use paste is not just for traditional Korean dishes, but it also works wonderfully as a marinade for meat and vegetables or even as a dipping sauce.
Rice, Red Pepper, Corn Syrup, Purified Water, Chili Seasoning, Salt, Iso-maltooligosaccharide, Pepper Beans (soybeans), Yeast Powder, Seed Malt.
Stick it in the cupboard, refrigerate after opening.
